Soldiers barkcloth fabric designed by David Whitehead for Heals in the 1950's.
This iconic, mid-century fabric features Napoleonic soldiers in red, blue and gold uniforms on a white background. Each line of soldiers is separated from the one below by a line of regimental drums and flags.
This David Whitehead screenprinted linen is in good condition with bright colours and no damage. The selvedges are intact and neatly stitched on each side. The barkcloth has a good texture.
Soldiers measures 110cm across x 54cm long which will give you one line of soldiers and the drum border - perfect for cushions! There are two pieces available, if you order both, they will come as a continuous piece measuring 110cm long.
