This Postman Pat fabric was produced in 1992 for the BBC. It's 100% cotton with the Woodman Animations copyright mark clearly shown.
The background is a sunny yellow and the fabric is filled with scenes from Pat's adventures... Sam's mobile shop, a dog running off with Pat's hat, Granny Dryden, Mrs Goggins and the Post Office... They're all here. Even Pat's Airmail service areoplane! Along the bottom of the images is a long border showing lots of the characters from Pat's village of Greendale.
This is salvaged fabric in good condition. It's strong with bright colours. I spotted a couple of tiny marks - see the last picture - but I don't think they are a problem. The two sides are neatly hemmed and I've left them that way. It's a good weight for any project from upholstery to clothes!
There are four pieces available. Each measures 80cm across x 75cm long. This will give you one complete vertical repeat and approximately two horizontal ones. If you order two pieces they will come as a continuous piece horizontally - ie 160cm across.
