As Hard to Find as the Talking Fish! (Maybe harder...)
3 in stock.
This is my favourite Rupert the Bear cotton! It's by Coloroll and all the Nutwood regulars are represented - there's even some Girl Guides looking in on the scene.
There are two large scenes - one of Rupert walking a dog and the other showing Rupert and chums chatting to the Golden fish. There is a smaller image of Rupert serving tea.
This is an unused piece of cotton. There are no selvedges but the fabric is crisp and the colours are vibrant and reflect that fifties feel of the original Rupert illustrations. There are no marks or holes and no fading. The cotton is marked with the Express Newspapers mark and dated 1982.
This Rupert cotton measures 110cm across and is sold in 80cm lengths. If you order more than one length it will come as a continuous piece to a maximum length of 1.6 metres.
