This Fothergay fabric is from 1964 and shows Robert Tyndall's illustrations of Noddy and his Toy Town Friends. They are printed on a pink cotton which is a perfect weight for curtains, cushions, bags, clothes and applique.
If there's a more joyous, colourful and nostalgic children's cotton than this I'd be surprised! (It's my favourite!). The characters measure between 14cm and 18cm and are well spaced across the cotton if you wanted to use them in a patchwork or applique project.
This is unused, end of roll, original fabric. There are selvedges to both sides marked with the copyright information and the date - 1964. There is 10 metres available so perfect if you want to make curtains for the nursery! If you want less, then it's sold in 1 metre lengths, which gives you a complete repeat plus extra at each end. If you order more than one unit it will come as a continuous piece.
Please note that this is unused, original fabric that has been stored on the roll. It will need a quick wash to remove any dust or creases.
