Shirefolk Linen by Burgess Ledward - 55cm x 70cm

This stunning vintage linen is a screen printed fabric by Burgess Ledward & Co called "Shirefolk".

Birds, Insects and Mammals are shown in an imaginary world where mice hitch lifts with snails and ladybirds and rabbits travel to London.

This charming, vintage children's fabric is full of stories with colourful animals and flowers printed onto an off-white linen. The background is filled with line drawings of country fields and houses.

The fabric is reclaimed, in excellent condition and with a selvedge to one side with full attribution. The characters measure about 15cm in height and it's in good condition with no marks or tears. There are a couple of faint fold lines at the bottom.

This Shirefolk fabric is a midweight linen and suitable for most projects. There are two pieces left, each measures 55cm across x 70cm long. If you order both, they will come uncut.
