This vintage poster shows three children gazing out of their bedroom window at the moon and stars lighting up a country lane. It's a beautiful and timeless image and would look perfect in a child's room. It dates to 1938.
This is number 38 from a series of classroom posters created by Enid Blyton in collaboration with a number of well known illustrators of the day. They were designed as talking points to be used in infant school classrooms. They conjure up the era perfectly; filled with children and nature subjects all in the styles and colours of the period. There are several available in the shop.
The posters have crisp, clear colours and are printed on heavy white paper. This poster is in lovely condition and has been stored flat which has protected the image and means no creases.
