1920's Crochet Lace & Linen Panel - Embroidery & Lace - Doilie -50cm x 30cm

Crochet lace and embroidered panel from the twenties.

This linen panel has cutwork and raised blue stitching at its centre. Arpound the edge is a deep. crocheted lace trim in cream cotten. The handiwork is delicate and neat and the crochet trim is quite complex. It would have graced the dining table or sideboard in a twenties home.

You could display this agin or combine it with other vintage lace and panels to make a quilt or throw.

It measures 50cm in length x 30cm at its widest point. The condition is very good with no stains or marks. There is some slight yellowing to one side of the lace which will lessen with a soak in mild bleach if it worries you. The stitches are all intact.
