Edwardian Lace Panel - Embroidery & Lace - Doilie - 40cm x 28cm

Delicate handmade embroidered lace panel with  flowers and trim.

This is an exquisite handmade mat or doilie. Hand embroidered in off-white cotton with a meandering floral motif in the centre. The flowers and inner border were stitched with blue silk embroidery thread, which is faded in parts, which adds to the beauty of this old piece.

This would make a display piece on its own but you could also combine it with other vintage lace and panels to make a quilt or throw.

It measures 40cm in length x 27cm at its widest point. The condition is very good with no stains or marks. Some fading as mentioned and couple of loose stitches to the edge, otherwise this is perfect!
