1950's Christmas Stocking

This vintage Christmas stocking dates from the 1950's/60's and has been handmade with a lovely printed cotton.

One side shows Father Christmas arriving down the chimney, there are presents and toys scattered all around. The reverse is filled with all kinds of nostalgic toys fropm a rocking horse to a spinning top. Everything is printed on to a bright red cotton and there is a hanging loop at the top.

This vintage stocking measures 33cm from the top to the turn of the heel and 22cm along the foot. It's about 21cm at it's wides point, and about 13cm at it's narrowest. It's in lovely condition with no marks or flaws.
