Asterix and Obelix feature on this 1990's cotton fabric, with Goscinny and Uderzo's images taken from the 1977 book Asterix and the Great Crossing.
The wide band at the top of the fabric shows Asterix and Obelix introducing themselves to the Native Americans they have just met. The wide band at the bottom has the village complete with teepees.
These fabric panels are a good size, measuring 130cm across x 85cm deep. The bands mean they will divide well to give several different scenes and borders. Use them as a whole or split them for individual projects. I find the narrow borders great for edging quilts and bags.
This is a lightweigt cotton in good condition and with good, strong colours. There are a couple of tiny marks - see the last three pictures for details. These are not all on the same piece! The fabric is marked with the Goscinny and Uderzo copyright and dated 1994.
There's more Asterix cotton in the shop, not to mention a duvet set!
