This 1950's cotton is covered in colourful stamps and postmarks. I think it refers to Commonwealth countries and it feels very reminiscent of the period.
The background colour is grey and the stamps are printed in a limited colour palette of green, mustard and red. Nigeria, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Malaysia are the main countries featured.
This is a striking barkcloth and is in excellent condition. It measures 115cm across and is sold by the half metre. If you order more than one unit it will come as a continuous piece, to a maximum of 150cm.
PLEASE NOTE: At the moment you can't add items to a basket when in the shop. It is turned off because my Post Office is sometimes closed and there is uncertainty with the ability to post to some countries. If you would like to buy or order an item PLEASE CONTACT ME and I will send you an invoice and post out - circumstances allowing.
