This original, vintage travel poster was produced for the German Tourist Board. Research suggests that it dates from the mid 1930's.
It shows one of Wurzburg's most famous baroque buildings, the Residenz palace. The title at the bottom locates it as "Wurzburg - The Baroque City in Franconia (Bavaria)" and it was printed in Germany for Meisenbach Riffharth & Co in Berlin. It measures 71cm x 50cm.
This travel poster is pre-war and so shows some wear for its 80 or so years. There are some faint, historical tape marks to the bottom panel. The top edge is clean but I suspect that it was trimmed at some time to remove damage. It's a remarkable survivor from its time.
There is another German travel poster in the shop; the two would look great framed and hung together.
