Original 1960's Christmas tin from Brooks Beattie

This vintage Christmas tin is from the early 1950's and was filled with 4Lbs of biscuits. The lid has a fabulous snowy scene of a timbered village houses, snowy streets and ladies in crinolines. The sides continue the theme with more village scenes.
This vintage Christmas tin is in fair condition for its years. The picture on the lid is clear with wear to the corners as you would expect. The lid its well but there is a dent to one side which has a sharp edge. I like the gentle colours but they may be the result of fading.  The base has lovely rolled edges and the side mages are fiar with some scratches. This is an older tin that still displays well. The inside is has some tarnishing, the bottom of the base is scratched as you would expect. It is marked with the Brookes Beattie name.

It measures 23.5cm x 22cm x 12cm so is perfect for holding a cake or Christmas biscuit assortment of your own!
