Vintage Childrens Rag Book Cotton - 115cm Wide - Screen Print Cotton

A rare find of uncut, rag book cotton filled with images that would have been made into a Deans cloth book for children.

This colourful fabric is packed with images that were familiar to children in the sixties and seventies. Bright, colourful pictures that were sewn into rag books by the famous Deans company. This fabric length has teddies, baby animals, toys and games as well as the title page and back cover with the copyright information.

These vintage children's fabric lengths are perfect for quilting and small projects. Because of the design these images are easily cut into small squares and rectangles. Lovely as patches and pockets on clothing or made into small bags and purses.

Each piece of this vintage rag book cotton measures 115cm wide x 135cm long. The pages are approximately 20cm high.

This is reclaimed fabric in good condition with bright colours and no marks. It is a light, woven cotton and the images are screen printed.  There are selvedges to both sides, some are neatly hemmed.
