Unused, original CC41 printed linen. World War Two rationed fabric.
This rare linen is screen printed with a floral design on an off-white linen. The flowers are well spaced and the colour palette is limited but bright.
This fabric still has the CC41 utility mark stamped front and back at one end of the roll as well as the pattern number. The fabric was probably produced towards the end of the rationing period which closed in 1952.
This is a versatile linen suitable for clothing and household projects. It is in perfect, unused condition with selvedeges to both sides. The vertical repeat is 43cm.
It measures 77cm (30") across and is sold by the half metre. If you order more than one unit it will come in a continuous piece.
There are other unused fabrics in the shop from the same period.
