1920's Father Christmas Decoration

This Father Christmas looksa bit surprised to be attached to some greenery which has again been made from a covered wire with a small green ribbon attached! He was handmade in the 1920's and probably used to hang on the tree as there is a hook at the back.

I feel he is so fabulous that he should be on display and so I have added an 1920's cotton reel as a base so that he can stand on a mantlepiece or shelf.

This original twenties Father Christmas is about 4cm high and completely charming. Now that he is on the cotton reel (although you can remove him if you like), he is 15cm high.

This vintage Christmas figure, and most of the others from the same era, came from a family collection.
