Vintage Christmas Tin - Scottie Dogs - 1950's

This Christmas toffee tin was made by Fillerys, a company based in Birmigham in the UK that produced toffee until it was taken over in 1960. This design dates from the 1950's and is a very sweet scene of three black Scottie dogs wrapped in Tarten blankets and sporting a Merry Christmas label.

The bottom half of the tin is a bright red and the company name is embossed on the base.

This Christmas tin is in very good condition for its age with  bright colours and light wear. The inside is clean and the lid fits well. It measures 13cm x 10cm x 2.5cm

This would be a great gift if you can bear to part with it, otherwise add it to a vintage Christmas display in your home.
