Vintage French Cotton - 115cm x 80cm

This is a vintage French printed cotton that has a big picture of a period interior as its focus. This is beautifully detailed and full of colour. In between these scenes is a smaller picture of a rider and a horse. The whole is printed on to a red backdrop decorated with flowers. The interiors scen is about 25cm x 30cm and the rider is about 16cm x 20cm.

This is an old, dressweight cotton, it is very soft and has fading in the row of pictures at the bottom. This is old fabric and the fading is part of the charm of this print, there's plenty left to use for small projects and quilts. It would lovely as part of some patchwork or lining part of a jacket or bag.
