Vintage Shopping Bag - Sussex - Upcycled Market Bag

Seaside themed, vintage shopping bags made from original vintage tea towels make great presents for friends and family as well as being useful, fun momentos of a favourite place.

The bag is handmade from an original tea towel featuring a map of the Sussex coastline and images of many of the sights. It has the words Sussex-By-The-Sea. It's bright and colourful as you might expect, it's padded throughout and can stand upright. The inner is lined with a bright deckchair stripe cotton and has a small pocket. The handles are also padded for comfort. It is finished with contrast stitching.

This is a completely unique bag. It's sturdy and useful - perfect for shopping, beach tips, picnics - anything really. It is also fully washable and can be folded if needs be.

This bag measures approximately 33cm (h) x 43cm (w) x 6cm (d).

I choose these tea towels for their colours and graphics and have started to turn them into themed bags and accessories to add a bit of colour to everyday activities.
