This vintage children's cotton is from Osman Fabrics by Osborne & Little. It's called The House that Jack Built and features the words and pictures from the nursery rhyme.
The background is an off white and the fabric is filled with illustrations in and arts and crafts style. The colours are soft - red, green, blue and yellow and the words of the rhyme are featured in scrolls in between the images.
This is unused, end of roll fabric with selvedges and attribution to both sides. I think it probably dates to the 1980's but I haven't been able to pin it down yet. It's a good weight for any project, from bags to upholstery and, of course, patchwork!
The House that Jack Built is in excellent, unused condition and measures 120cm across. It has a vertical repeat of 64cm and this last piece measures 140cm long.
