Vintage Tintin SINGLE Duvet Set - The Broken Ear - Colours

This bright, colour-filled Tintin duvet cover shows scenes from Herge's book The Broken Ear. This is a different design from the other duvet in the shop from the same story, here we have a series of scenes laid out, cartoon style in a grid pattern. As with all my Tintin fabrics, these are original Herge designs from the books printed on to 100% cotton.

Tintin and Snowy are here, along with other characters from the story icluding the parrot, the museum officer and the statue. There is a matching fabric on the reverse, this shows characters from the story well scattered on a white background.

This is a very hard to find duvet set, and is in great condition. There are a couple of tumble drier fold marks on the darker areas but nothing that would worry me, this is a great duvet with crisp cotton.

This set is French so the cover follows the french design of being open at the end with a long tail of fabric that tucks under the mattress to keep the duvet in place. It comes with one of the portrait fabric pillowcases which matches really well. There is more of the matching fabric in the shop so it would be easy to make another one should you wish to.

This is a vintage Tintin duvet cover, not new but in good condition, the duvet is clean and well cared for. I only sell bedding that I would be happy to use myself but please do remember that this is a vintage set. This bedding has been well looked after and is in good condition - however, if you are looking for a new duvet set this one is not for you.

100% cotton and a single bed size - approximately 140cm x 190cm (plus the tail).
