These Moomin heat packs are pillows filled with cherry stones. A couple of minutes in the microwave (or 15 minutes in a normal oven or Aga) will warm these up and the cherry stones will mould themsleves to which ever part of you needs some heat.

The heat packs have a double fabric layer - the lining is calico and the cover fabric has a Moomin on the front and cheery red cotton on the reverse.  They measure approximately 20cm x 20cm.

The cherry stone heart of these thermal pillows or neck warmers retain heat over a long period of time. They also mould themselves nicely to the small of your back, your neck, or any other area that needs a bit of tlc! They keep your feet warm in bed too... Because these are cherry stones, and not the usual wheatgerm or rice, they can be washed. Yes, really...just throw them into the washing machine.
