There's a definite Sgt Pepper feel to this vintage linen. The circus band and their leader look as though they were inspired by the Beatles album and the bright orange backdrop and graphic illustrations continue the theme.
This is a 1960's screen printed fabric and it's filled with iconic circus imagery with the big tent, monkeys, zebras, elephants and lions. The colours are bright and bold and the drawing style is very much of the period.
This is reclaimed fabric with selvedges to both sides. It's in very good vintage condition with bright colours and no marks. I've spotted a couple of pulled threads but that's it. To the top there are some faint stitch lines and to the bottom, a faint fold line - see the last two pictures for details.
There are three panels available, each measures 115cm across x 120cm long. Match it up with some of the other sixties screen prints for a vibrant quilt or throw.
