This blue Tintin cotton comes from the Herge story of King Ottokar's Sceptre. This fabric shows a guard and various symbols from the story with Tintin's name and the title also scattered about. It has the Herge/Moulinsart trademark and is dated 1997.
The cotton is in good vintage condition. It's a mediumweight cotton and the colours are good and clear. There may be a slight overall fade but nothing to worry about and there are a couple of faint fold lines - see last picture. The print covers the background well and it would make good cushion covers or bags as well as being perfect for patchwork.
The fabric measures a generous 160cm wide and is sold by the half metre. If you order more than one unit it will come as a continuous piece. Bear in mind that there is no right way up for this print so you can use the dimensions as you please.
