This Rupert the Bear cotton mix fabric has a story to tell of Rupert and a Cloud. The story is made up with different story panels, each of which has a picture and some text.
The fabric is marked as "Rupert Approved" and is copyrighted to the Express Newspaper Group and dated 1986.
This Rupert cotton is reclaimed but in good condition overall. The colours are still good and the fabric is strong. There are a couple of small marks but nothing that really notices.
Each picture in the Rupert panel measures about 18cm square, which makes them a good size for cutting up seperately to use as part of a quilt, bag or cushion.
If you just want one of each of the 9 different squares that make up the story then head to the shop where you can buy a complete panel. If, however, you want a volume of Rupert fabric for a variety of projects this will give you plenty of fabric for making cushions, clothes and quilts.
This fabric measures 128cm across and is sold by the half metre. This will give you 5 or 6 squares across the width of the fabric. Bear in mind tha the vertical repeat is approximately 61cm. If you order more than one unit it will come as a continuous piece - up to a maximum of 1.5 metres.
