Vntage Rocket Fabric - 140cm wide

This fabulous vintage spaceship fabric is 100% cotton and covered in planets, rockets and stars on a sky blue background.

It's unused and in excellent condition with no marks or fading at all. There are selvedges to both sides and it's marked with a Washington DC trademark and the title "Rockets".

I can't track down any history for the manufacturer or the pattern and I'm inclined to think it may have originated in the USA. It was found in a loft where it had been for "quite a few years" so I'm guessing it was produced in the 1980's or 90's.

This is a good weight for any project from curtains to dresses. Perfect for adding a space theme to a room without it being too dark.

Unused retro space fabric is a rare find, especially one with a pattern as fabulous as this one. The rockets and planets are very sixties in design and the bright colours emphsise the vintage appeal. There is a silver effect on all of the grey areas that you see in the photographs.

Vintage rocket fabric is 140cm wide and sold by the half metre. If you buy more than one unit it will come as a continuous piece.
