Sold. I'm out looking for more but in the meantime head to the shop for more lovely things at www.handmadeandvintage.co.uk
This stunning French linen dates from the 1950's and shows china and roses on a red background. It's a reclaimed fabric in lovely condition with bright colours and clear print.
The images are arranged as a series of shelves displaying (what looks like) Sevres pattern china with Roses, Irises and Geraniums arranged in jugs and pots. The linen came out of a large French house where it had been used for curtains and chair backs.
This is a striking vintage fabric which will divide well if you want to add it to a quilt. Left in one piece it would look fabulous on a big lampshade or covering chairs...not to mention bags...cushions...and more!
This vintage print measures 120cm across and is sold by the half metre. If you order more than one unit it will come as a continuous piece.
