This beautiful Beatrix Potter cotton mix is filled with original drawings of scenes from the story of Peter Rabbit printed onto the sunniest of yellow backgrounds. It is an end of roll, unused fabric with selvedges to both sides and was produced in 2001 by Frederick Warne & Co.
Peter Rabbit appears in various poses along with fruit, vegetables, butterflies and birds. The pictures are printed in a patchwork style with "stitches" fixing them to the background. They are well spaced on the fabric which means that you could use the pictures individually if you wanted too. The print quality is superb and the drawings are detailed and full of colour.
This Beatrix Potter fabric would divide perfectly for patchworking or keep it whole and cover a cushion or a bag - or even a chair! It will quilt beautifully.
Each drawing measures about 7cm in height. The cotton is in excellent, unused condition and suitable for all projects. There's just one piece available measuring 110cm across by 25cm long.
