This cotton blend fabric is full of Richard Scarry's Busy Town characters. The Bear family and mother and son appear in several garden scenes of playtime, picnics and games. As in the Busy World books, the drawings are very clear and full of detail.
This vintage fabric is American and reclaimed - there are no selvedges. It is strong with bright colours and in very good condition. There are a couple of pulled threads and one (very) faint stitch line. See the last picture above for the thread; I couldn't photograph the stitch line.
The Busy Town characters on the fabric average 10cm in height and the vertical repeat is about 45cm. This is a vibrant fun fabric in a mid-weight so suitable for any number of projects.
It measures 105cm across and is sold by the half metre. If you order more than one unit it will come as a continuous piece up to a maximum of one metre.
