Sold. I'm out looking for more but in the meantime head to the shop for more lovely things at www.handmadeandvintage.co.uk
This cotton edging has an intricate flower pattern running through it and a scalloped bottom edge. It's a continuous turned piece with deeper triangles at each corner.
I've left it complete in case you want to use it to edge a linen cloth or quilt but you could also choose to cut it into 4 straight pieces.
It's cotton, handmade (I think), and a pale ecru colour. The crochet work is in excellent condition but there are a few rust marks scattered along it so it would benefit from a soak in an oxygenating cleaning solution.
It measures approximately 92 cm along each length - 368cm in total. The depth is 5cm along the straight sides with the corner triangles measuring 8cm deep.
