The duvet cover in this Tintin bedding set shows Tintin, Snowy and soldiers in a scene from the Herge book, King Ottokar's Sceptre. These are the orginal Herge designs and they almost fill the front of this single duvet cover. The duvet is marked with the Herge copyright and is dated 1997.

This is one of my favourite Tintin duvet covers with it's big bold colours of red, orange and blue, plus the clear graphics. The title of the book and the crests from the story complete the images on the front.

The reverse of the duvet is a blue cotton printed with images and symbols from the story. Again the colours are strong and clear. This same pattern is used on the fitted sheet that goes with the set.

This Tintin duvet set is French and 100% cotton. The duvet cover itself follows the french tradition of being open at the end with a long tail of fabric that tucks under the mattress to keep the duvet in place - genius! The accompanying pillowcase is square. This duvet set is in good condition with bright colours and crisp cotton.

I only sell vintage bedding that I would be happy to use myself however, if you are looking for a new duvet set this one is not for you.
