This Paddington Bear fabric is a mid-weight cotton blend. It is full of colour and shows Paddington Bear in a vareity of locations in London - including the Portabello Market, home of his great friend Mr Gruber.
The background fabric is blue and the scenes from Paddington's stories are printed across the complete width in shades of red, green and blue. To give an idea of size, the car measures approximately 30cm x 24cm and the bike, 20cm x 20cm. Each scene is a story in itself so if you wanted to use seperate pieces of this fabric then you could.
The drawings are clear and well printed and true to the originals in Michael Bond's books. The fabric is reclaimed and in very good condition. I had some of this design on a beige background a while ago so I'm really pleased to have found this colourway too.
It measures 125cm across and is sold by the half metre. If you order more than one unit I will always try to send it it as a continuous piece - maximum length available is 1.5 metres. Please note that the pattern repeat is roughly 73cm.
There are other Paddington fabrics available in the shop.
