These cotton Tintin panels are all salvaged from a larger piece that showed a selection of frames from Herge's 1939 edition of Tintin and King Ottokar's Sceptre. They are all from the black and white edition of the book so have strong graphics and a more muted colour scheme than the later pieces listed.
The cotton is in good condition and the print and colours are strong and clear. Each frame shows Tintin in a scene from the story, all are printed on to a blue cotton with a black border around the image. A few have small frayed areas at the edges but these are always outside the black border area.
These Tintin and King Ottokar panels match the printed cotton showing Snowy from the same story
This piece of Tintin fabric shows: Tintin falling from the motorbike and has the Herge signature in the corner.
Fabric Panel Measurements: 41cm (h) x 23cm (w) (measured to the black borders)
All the panels are a good size and perfect as part of a large patchwork project or to make cushions, bags, etc with a Tintin theme. This fabric is orginal french cotton from 1991.
