This single Tintin duvet cover shows scenes from the Tintin adventure The Blue Lotus and shows the original Herge drawings and characters from Herge's story. This one dates from 1993 and there is a Herge copyright with the date mark on the duvet.

This duvet cover features Tintin and Snowy negotiating a rickshaw ride in a series of panels from the story. These are printed onto a mottled blue background with the title of the story and kanji writing on one side and a beautiful dragon on the other. The panels are beautifully drawn and the printing is clear. The language is French.

There is no matching pillowcase with this cover, but I've added a Tintin one from the same date. It shows Tintin and Snowy on one side with ther names, Captain Haddock is on the reverse. The Herge copyright is printed with the date - 1993.

This set is French so the pillowcase is square. The duvet cover itself follows the french design of being open at the end with a long tail of fabric that tucks under the mattress to keep the duvet in place - genius!

The duvet cover is printed on one side, the reverse has a series of pictures showing Tintin in various scenes from the Blue Lotus story. Again, this print is clear and unmarked.

This is is a vintage set, not new but in excellent condition. The duvet is crisp and clean and in the colours are good. I only sell bedding that I would be happy to use myself but please do remember that this is a vintage set. This bedding has been well looked after however, if you are looking for a new duvet set this one is not for you.
