This gorgeous Jane Churchill, Alice in Wonderland fabric is in excellent condition. It was produced in 1992 as part of the "Wonderland" series and most of the major characters from the Alice stories are shown; the drawings are based on the original John Tenniel illustrations.
The fabric is linen, the background colour is a rich blue and the slightly heavier, upholstery, weight is perfect for for pretty much anything - from curtains to frocks! The illustrations would also divide well for patchworking or smaller projects. There's a quilt in the shop to give you an idea of how it divides.
The main characters measure between 15cm and 20cm in height and they are surrounded by smaller images from the stories. This is reclaimed fabric with good colours and no stains or holes. There is a selvedge to each side. The only flaw is a fade mark down one side at about 10cm in - see photo. I've left this to give you the complete width so you can either trim it or work around it.
This Alice in Wonderland fabric measures 142cm across the printed width, selvedge to selvedge and is sold in 60cm lengths. I've divided it so that you will always get Alice in a single length as well as most of the other characters. If you order more than one unit it will come as a continuous piece to a maximum of 2 metres.
This is increasingly hard to find in any of the colourways, so if Alice is your favourite, grab this now.
