Sold. I'm out looking for more but in the meantime head to the shop for more lovely things at www.handmadeandvintage.co.uk
This is a lovely Sanderson fabric from the 1960's called "Animal Farm". It's covered with stylised drawings of animals in shades of yellows and orange. These are set on a white background with grasses and flowers.
This is a mediumweight cotton and suitable for any project. The animals would divide beautifully to make patchwork pieces or for smaller projects like bool covers or purses.
This Sanderson print is quite hard to find and these pieces are in good vintage condition. The colours are even and unfaded and the cotton is strong and without marks. There is a selvedge to one side with the copyright markings.
It measures 115cm across and is sold by the half metre. Ordering more than one unit will bring a continuous piece where possible - up to a maximum 1 metre length.
