Stunning 1960's cotton fabric showing animals building and decorating with varying degrees of success. This busy, colourful print is in very good condition; the cotton is strong and there are no marks or tears. The colours are good with very slight fading to the edges but nothing that particularly stands out.
This is salvaged fabric but retains both it's selvedges. One is marked with the style design and a copyright but it's very difficult to make out.
The figures are charming and have a Richard Scarry feel to them and the fabric would make gorgeous cushions or bags. The characters would cut well if you wanted to use them in a quilt.
I only have two pieces of this fabric. It measures 120cm across and is sold by the half metre. Ordering 2 units will give you one continuous piece of fabric.
