Paddington Bear Cotton - Paddington's Arrival 110cm W
Sold. I'm out looking for more but in the meantime head to the shop for more lovely things at www.handmadeandvintage.co.uk
This Paddington Bear fabric is a cotton and linen blend and is called "Paddington's Arrival". It is a Wardle pattern and is also marked with the Film Fare copyright.
Paddington is shown arriving with his suitcase, labels and a jar of marmalade. The drawings are true to the originals in Michael Bond's book.
This is a perfect weight for all kinds of projects like cushions or bags. The pictures would also add a nostalgic touch to a patchwork project or quilt.
This is reclaimed fabric with a selvedge to one side which I have left hemmed. The colours are good and the fabric is strong. There is a small fade line to the edge and I spootted a couple of very small marks but nothing to really detract from this lovely fabric.
The fabric measures 110cm across and is sold by the half metre. Ordering more than 1 unit will bring a continuous piece up to 1 metre.
