This Rupert the Bear cotton mix fabric has a story to tell of Rupert and a Cloud. The story is made up of 9 different story panels, each of which has a picture and some text.
The fabric is marked as "Rupert Approved" and is copyrighted to the Express Newspaper Group and dated 1986.
Each picture in the Rupert story measures about 18cm square, which makes them a good size for cutting up seperately to use as part of a quilt, bag or cushion. Perfect for patchwork too! You can also use them in sequence to tell the story - please note though that the 9 squares won't always come in the correct order, it depends how the fabric divides.
This Rupert cotton is reclaimed fabric, and these remaining fabrics are cheaper than previously because they each have a small fault. It may be a fade line to one side, or the colours overall are less vivid, or they may be a fold line at the top and/or bottom or they may be cut hard to the edge of the picture, or there may be a small hole... Overall, the fabric is strong and you will still receive a block so that each unit will give you one complete set of the 9 different pictures. These are cut pieces, if you order more than one it will come as a seperate piece.
