Stunning Linen Cloth with Hand Embroidery

This beautiful cloth is a medium weight linen that has been hand embroidered and embellished with cutwork and pulled threads so that it is completely covered. The level of work is exsquisite on this cloth, it's hard to imagine the number of hours it must have taken to complete.

The main part of the cloth is covered in stylised embroidered flowers, stems and leaves that end in delicate pulled thread and embroidered petals and flower heads. There  is a band of pulled thread work around the inner edge and then a border of beautiful flowers before another two borders with more pulled thread decoration.

The cloth is in fabulous condition, the colours are strong and the embroidery intact. The linen is white and unmarked as far as I can see.

The cloth measures 124cm x 127cm. It would look great on a table or over the back of a chair or sofa. It would also be fabulous as the centrepiece of a quilt or larger throw.
