Vintage Hand Embroidered Tablecloth

Lovely Flowery Cloth for your Bedside Table

This pretty cloth is hand embroidered on the softest, cream coloured linen. It measures 46cm in diameter and would look very pretty on a small side table or as a centre for a dining table.

The embroidery around the edges is of blue flowered trees in pots, pink flowers in baskets and orange and yellow flowers inbetween. It came from a box of linen from a Sussex house and I think it was done in the 1940's. The colours certainly have that feel to them.

The cloth is in good vintage condition with just one very pale mark by an embroidered tree. There is a laundry mark to show it's been well loved over the years!
