These original 1930's school posters are very reminiscent of Enid Blyton story book illustrations and look fantastic framed up and on display. They were used as discussion pictures in the classroom and conjure up the era perfectly.
This one is entitled "People who work for us - The Baker, The Postman" it's signed Fytte in the bottom corner and is numbered 41 from a series. The baker is shown offering two children a choice of cakes from his horse-drawn delivery van, whilst in the background the postmen load up the day's mail.
The poster has crisp, clear colours and is printed on heavy white paper. It show signs of wear around the edges but the central images are all in good condition. It is mounted in an off-white board frame and backed with a matching board back. It is ready to frame.
The image size is 30cm x 42cm, whilst the overall framed size is 61cm x 46cm.
